Mould Inspection & Air Quality Testing
Testing is where restoration starts. Inspections are carried out by a Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) or Certified Residential Mould Inspector (CRMI) through our testing services, RespirCare Inspections Canada / Respircare Analytical. Samples are analyzed by a third-party accredited lab.

| Moisture Check | Non-invasive moisture-meter inspection. In some cases it reads about 1″ into walls without opening the drywall. Report within 2 business days. |
| Air samples (added to an inspection) | Lab-analyzed spore-trap samples |
| Surface Sampling | A swab or tape sample of visible mould that identifies the species. Report within 4 business days. |
| Phase 1 Contaminant Inspection: Mortgage | Non-invasive inspection with air samples and a full lab report. Requires a previous air-quality report, or the lab can provide one. |
| Contaminant Inspection: City Requirements | A full non-invasive contamination inspection for municipal requirements |
| Allergen Screen (Dust Check) | Dust samples from each room, plus flooring and bedding, analyzed for allergens and mould. Report and plan within 4 business days. |
| Lab Results Review / Cover Report | A written review of lab results with recommendations |

What does a lab report tell me?
It compares indoor spore levels and types with an outdoor baseline, so you can see whether indoor levels are elevated.
