Medallion Healthy Homes follows British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
When you use our quote request form, email, or call us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address or city, and details about the job (such as the problem, year built, photos, or lab reports you choose to send).
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your request, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out services, send reports, and follow up on the work. We collect only what we need for these purposes.
We don’t sell it
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only when needed to deliver your service (for example, sending samples to an accredited lab, or reports to a city when a service requires it), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and for our business, tax, and legal record-keeping. After that, we securely delete or destroy it.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Your rights: access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent (which may limit the services we can provide). Contact us:

Customer reviews
If you leave a review on our website we collect your name and/or invoice number, the job address, your star rating, your review text and, if you choose, a photo. We use the address and invoice number only to confirm that we did work for you; they are never published. When you agree to publish, we show only your star rating, your review text, your first name and last initial, and the city of the job (for example “Gary S. – Verified job, Vancouver”). Photos are kept private and are not published. We store a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address for a short time to block spam. You can ask us to remove your review at any time by emailing info@medallioncanada.com.
